Found in Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra at elevations of sea-level to 1000 in swamp forests on mature mangrove trees as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, cylindrical pseudobulbs spaced 1 5/8" to 3 1/8" apart and ringed basally by stiff bristles and carries a single apical, narrowed gradually at both ends and basally into a short petiole leaf.
